In her season statement, Sommer Schoch primes audiences for the range of experiences this season has to offer: “This season includes a range of material that I hope will challenge you in many different ways: from personal and intimate shows like Getting and Spending to broad physical theater selections like Men on Boats, this season is sure to give you a range of options that will delight and entertain you…as well as make you think. Being open to new stories and styles is what I hope will bring you back (to Flashback) for more.”
“I find audience members often have different favorites each season, and sometimes they are surprised about which show they ended up loving. You never know which show will have the character you recognize, the story you’ve lived, or the moment that touches your soul.” says Schoch, “And every show this season touches my heart in one way or another. It is a very personal season that asks us to be vulnerable, to take care of ourselves and one another, and to be open to new experiences.”
