Alex George (they/them) is a Chicago actor who grew up on the Flashback stage. Their passionate pursuit of theater that speaks to the soul has taken them on a fantastic journey all around the midwest, from training at the world-renowned Interlochen Center for the Arts to receiving their BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Though currently based in Chicago, IL, George works with their LA-based manager to pursue TV, film, and theatre projects nationwide. Most recently, they have been seen as Sulla in Rossum’s Universal Robots (RUR) at City Lit Theater, Rook in A Shadow Bright and Burning with Black Button Eyes Productions, and as Jo u/s in Little Women at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. They are a proud Artistic Associate at City Lit Theater, one of Chicago’s oldest theater companies.

George is proud to continue to serve Flashback as the company’s Marketing Coordinator. They offer freelance marketing services nationwide through their company, Brightspot Media.
