Mountain Mamas runs at Somerset First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall
Production Specific Information
Somerset First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall is a flexible performance space, meaning the seating is adjusted for every individual show. Below is an example of the seating arrangement for Mountain Mamas. Designated Accessible Seating is demarcated by the International Symbol of Access.

Image Description: The layout for audience seating at Mountain Mamas. There is one large section in front of the stage, with an Accessible seat at the end of Aisle A. There is another small section at the right corner of the stage. There is a large open aisle between the two seating sections.
Parking
There is limited street parking at the front of the venue.
There is also a parking lot directly across from the venue on the corner of East Mount Vernon Street and South Central Avenue. There are two accessible parking spaces in this lot with a crosshatch area/access aisle. This parking lot has two crosswalks to cross the street and arrive at the venue. The cross walk on the corner of East Mount Vernon and South Central has audio and tactile crossing cues.
There is also some street parking at the south side of the venue on Rosewood avenue.Â
Entrance
When you get to the venue, you will take a stepless path from the sidewalk on S Central Ave to the Box Office entrance.
If you require a stepless path from the Box Office to the theater, please let the Box Office Attendant know. An FbTC usher will gladly show you back outside and through a second doorway with a ramp that leads into the theater space and to audience seating.Â
Bathrooms
The bathrooms are up a small set of stairs from the audience seating. For a stepless path from your seat to the bathrooms, please travel up the ramp in the front of the venue and exit, turn right, and re-enter through the Box Office entrance.Â
Ushers/Front of House Staff are happy to assist with opening and closing outer doors upon request. The doors at this venue are heavy and not automatic.Â
Assistive Listening Devices
We have Assistive Listening Devices available for any audience members who need them. There are two ways audience members can use these devices
- Monaural earbuds
- Audience members without hearing aids or cochlear implants with telecoils should use the Monoaural earbuds, which go in one ear similar to over the ear earbuds.Â
- Induction Neckloops
- Audience members with hearing aids or cochlear implants with telecoils should use the Induction Neckloops which lay around your neck similar to a lanyard.Â
Both of these types of devices plug into a “receiver”, which can be clipped onto their clothes, held in their hand, or used in whatever way is most comfortable. Users can turn the volume up and down on the receiver.
Audience members can request these devices at our Box Office. There will be a sign up indicating Assistive Listening Access.
