Allow us to lighten the mood as we celebrate Flashback Theater’s 13th season of productions.! Local artists will perform songs, scenes, and monologues to the theme of “Lighten Up”. In between acts, Producing Artistic Director Sommer Schoch will announce the 2026-27 season of productions at Flashback Theater Co. Featuring musical performances from pianist Debby McDonald, guitarist Bradley Gilmore, bassist Rick Winstead, and percussionist Justin Petrey.

Tickets for the Season Announcement Cabaret are Pay-What-You-Can. This keeps the event accessible for the community. We suggest a $10-20 donation.

Sommer Schoch is the founder and Producing Artistic Director of FbTC. In a decade of Flashback history: she has directed numerous productions; overseen the development of programming that drives artists to develop their skills and talents through masterclasses, workshops, and new play development; and established connections to a community that values experiencing art in our world. Before FbTC, Sommer graduated from Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music with dual Master’s degrees in Arts Administration and Business Administration.
Kimberly Heinrich is the owner of The Voice in You vocal training studio in Somerset, and she is thrilled to be working with Flashback Theater Co! With 30 years of experience teaching vocal lessons, children’s music classes, and musical theatre camps, this is a perfect fit for her. Kimberly has truly enjoyed her experiences in Somerset, and is looking forward to many more years of music in Kentucky.
