Flashback Theater Co. (FbTC) is seeking strategic minded and passionate individuals to join the board. FbTC is a semi-professional producing theater company serving the south central Kentucky region known for its passionate pursuit of theater that speaks to the soul.
Board members are responsible for oversight and governance of the nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, and help to connect the organization to the community through programming, outreach, networking, and fundraising. The organization’s staff provides support in the day-to-day tasks, allowing board members to specialize in their contributions to the company according to their skill set and priorities.
Current board members are a mix of business, performing, and retired professionals. FbTC values varied perspectives and seeks to find new members that can add to our dynamic conversations, hoping to grow the board to 12 total members in the next year. Board members offer insights to each other and to staff about how to approach new opportunities and challenges, and will help to carry out initiatives that result from those conversations.

Founded in November 2014, Flashback Theater Co. (FbTC) is quickly becoming known for its high quality programming and commitment to developing the region’s performing arts talent.
Flashback Theater has a season of 4 fully staged productions each year. Each season, FbTC explores the world, our past, and theater, giving you the chance to see both classic and new theater productions to enhance your perception of our world.
FbTC is a semi-professional theater company, meaning actors and crew are compensated with stipends for their work on and dedication to a production. By compensating our theater artists, we are encouraging local talent to remain in the area long term, allowing us to grow our community’s cultural landscape.
Flashback Theater is a non-profit corporation and is governed by a Board of Directors which meets on a monthly basis. The company’s administrative offices are currently located at 209A East Mount Vernon St., and production locations are announced on a show-by-show basis.

A board or staff member will follow up to discuss the role of board members and answer your questions about Flashback. If it seems like a good fit, you will be invited to a board meeting to meet everyone and that is when an official nomination can be brought to the board.
